Veneers are made from porcelain or composite and are used to change the shape, position, size and shade of teeth. They are bonded to the tooth to improve aesthetics and protect the tooth.
EXAMPLE OF WORK
Veneers are mainly used for aesthetic reasons when teeth are stained or chipped. They can also be used to straighten crooked teeth, or used to close small gaps when orthodontic treatment is not suitable. A veneer is porcelain facing (like a false nail) placed on the front of the tooth. Veneers are very natural looking and will improve the shape colour and alignment.
Composite (white filling material) can be used very successfully to reshape and re contour teeth as well as close gaps giving excellent aesthetic results with no removal of tooth tissue.
